Safety Rail 30" Bed Rail 8050 by Stander for Traditional Beds

The 30-inch Safety Bed Rail from Stander provides full protection from nighttime falls. Its 30-inch long frame is ideal for keeping your loved one in bed, even during those restless nights. Can these rails be used on adjustable beds? 

We originally recommended this Stander bed rail for Tempurpedic and other adjustable beds because of customer reviews we saw on the Stander website saying they worked great on their Tempurpedic beds. And we have our own review as well! We recommended it because the Tempurpedic bed and other adjustable beds have the same type of adjustable bed base that you can attach a strap to like the EZ Adjust and other Stander bed rails include.

However, Stander asked us not to make that recommendation because they have not put their bed rails through the required safety tests to pass federal safety standards for adjustable beds. So we removed the Stander bed rails as a choice in the adjustable bed rails category per their request.

  The Safety Bed Rail is designed to be used as both a safety guard rail and a bedside handle with a weight capacity of 300 pounds.
• SAFETY HANDLE:
  The 30-inch long safety handle can be used for balance and support when transferring in and out of bed
• SWINGS DOWN:
  By pulling two pins, pivot the bed rail downward 180 degrees to lay flat against the bed to increase caregiver access to the bed; 15″ of clearance required
• COMPATIBILITY:
  The Safety Bed Rail works with most traditional bed types with mattresses between 10″ and 19″ thick. It is not intended to be used with adjustable beds or beds with an extra soft mattress.
• REVERSIBLE:
  Install on either side of the bed between the mattress and box spring or base.
• SAFETY STRAP:
  Secures bed rail to bed frame on opposite side of bed.
