The ShearCare™ 1500 Pressure Reducing Mattress is designed to provide maximum pressure redistribution for the high risk bariatric patient. The mattress is engineered utilizing a combination of the highest density foams to create an ideal environment for the heavier patient.

- Multi-layered pressure redistribution foam mattress specifically designed for the high risk bariatric patient
- Top layer is high resilient, high density die cut foam for maximum support and comfort
- Heel section is made of Lura-Quilt™ foam which is an aerated foam that allows air to pass through keeping the patient cool and dry
- Bottom layer is made of LX45 foam which is a high density, high ILD foam that provides patient support and stability
- Designated head and foot sections prevent installation errors
- Top cover is a 2-way stretch nylon which reduces heat build up and provides a low shear surface that is anti-microbial and water resistant
- Concealed zipper and a barrier stop over flap prevents liquids from contaminating mattress core
- Designed to prevent and relieve pressure ulcers high risk patients
- Bottom cover is triple laminate vinyl, fluid resistant, anti-microbial and fire retardant
- Meets Federal Fire Code CFR 16 part 1633
