The Rhythm Healthcare SoftCaire DX bariatric deluxe mattress system and pump is intended to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing patient comfort. The mattress includes 20, 10" alternating air cells made of durable TPU, with laser drilled low air los therapy and embedded cell on cell design for effective pressure redistribution, power outage protection and patient transport. The cell-on-cell air bladder construction is a unique two-layer cell structure providing both alternation therapy and constant support in case of power outage or transportation.
